Voici une sculpture de lumière réalisée par le collectif allemand lab binaer qui s’est intéressé à la persistance de la vision. Cette œuvre est construite à partir d’un tourne-disque qui a été traité avec un pigment phosphorescent. Les messages diffusés sont “imprimés” sur le pigment grâce à une série de petites lumières placées sur le bras de lecture, qui illuminent ponctuellement la partie photosensible du tourne-disque.

MIDNIGHT JUGGERNAUTS dropped a new single called This New Technology on Acephale as a limited edition 7 inch as they get ready to drop their second album on Modular .
Produced by Midnight Juggernauts, the track was recorded at Melbourne’s Sing Sing Studios by Christopher Moore (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV on the Radio, Liars) and mixed by Andy Baldwin.

Juice Aleem, long-acknowledged as one of the finest MCs the UK has ever produced, finally goes solo. The sometime New Flesh and Gamma frontman who has also worked with Coldcut, Hextstatic, Evil 9 and Adam Freedland amongst many, many others, has decided that at last it’s time to go for self.
“Jerusalaam Come” is the result – thirteen tracks of varied beats and broad musical influences held together by Juice’s unique lyrical style and mental dexterity. Largely produced by Gamma/Shadowless legend Blackitude, it’s an album which is both as raw and as sophisticated as the minds who have made it.
Watch out his tune “Higher Higher”, a straight lyrics/battle tune, complete with tribal yells and a bell at the end of each round.

Bag Raiders new single, Shooting Stars is the first release in Modular’s new collaboration with The Bang Gang Deejays in-house label, Bang Gang 12 Inches, and will be out August 14.
The single comes correct with remixes by Kris Menace, Siriusmo, In Flagranti and Shazam, and a video directed by New York upstart Ron Winter. Just watch the clip and make up your mind !
